Complimentary Discovery Call

We get to know your project briefly over a free 15-minute call. At this time we will ask to schedule an Initial Consultation meeting in order to see your space and determine which service will suit your project best. A fee of $300 is to be paid in advance of this meeting.

Initial Consultation

We meet with you and all decision makers, to discuss the project, your design aesthetic, time frame, and project investment amount. This initial meeting can last up to two hours and is considered a working appointment where we freely give of our knowledge, insights and suggestions. This shall provide you with valuable information, create clarity for you, and give you a good idea of where you want to go with your project and how we may move forward together. This first valuable meeting always saves you time, money and mistakes moving forward. It is the starting point of all good design.

Brainstorming Meeting + Trade Day

After receipt of a signed contract and design deposit, we begin work! We measure, take before photos, identify all meaningful furnishings and accessories that will be incorporated into the design. Meanwhile, we will ask you to complete our Design Questionnaire and start a Pinterest Board with inspirational images representing your style and aesthetic. During our Brainstorming Meeting, we will align on an aesthetic direction and preliminary floorplans to discuss with our trades.

At Trade Day, we meet with all our trusted vendors and workmen who need to see, evaluate, give input and provide estimates for their portion of the job. This may include a painter, contractor, window treatment workroom, millworker, electrician, plumber, wall paperer etc. This is an action-packed brainstorming and creative day.

Floorplan

If your project involves any architectural or spatial changes, we will present 1-2 floor plan options with a scaled plan and accurate dimensions. You will also receive annotated furniture plans presenting options for furniture arrangements and our recommended spacing guidelines.

Vision Boards

You will receive one vision board per room conveying the muse behind your design concept. Each board will be packed with an assortment of inspirational images conveying the ‘look and feel’ with materials, textures, lighting, and a custom color story.

Initial Selections

We will make initial color, furniture, fixture, and appliance selections and help you visualize the selections through 2D renderings. At this point, we will conduct an initial estimate of furnishings to make sure we are aligned with your ideal investment amount.

Detailed Floor Plans & Elevations

Using our professional drawing tools, we will draw scaled plans and detailed elevations to clarify every design to your contractor and trades. These drawings are handed to your general contractor for a refined estimate of the project and will be used during the construction process.

Source Selections

All hard surface materials, along with lighting and plumbing fixtures, will be sourced locally from our most trusted vendors in the area. For furnishings, we source trade-only, guaranteed to provide you with a high-quality, one-of-a-kind pieces that will be a long-lasting investment. We ask that clients do not shop or go looking for furniture on their own at this time.

Proposals

We gather quotes from all trades and vendors to put together an accurate proposal for your final approval before ordering.

Purchasing

We handle the entire ordering process for you making it easy, efficient and manageable! All the necessary purchase orders are created, double checked for accuracy of selections, sizes and detail. The status of the orders is closely monitored, tracked and set up to be delivered to our receiver and checked for damages. Should there be issues with the product, it is all handled by us before arriving on site.

Coordination & Site Visits

We collaborate with all contractors, fabricators or tradespeople and manage all details during the construction or installation phases. Site visits to check on progress and quality are all arranged by us.

Installation & Styling

This is the exciting day you’ve been waiting for. The day when all of your furnishings are delivered and the room comes to life through accessorizing and styling! We take this opportunity to walk through all of the newly designed rooms revealing how the initial design concepts have come to life. This is also the time when we all do a final walk through and identify any outstanding items to be addressed. To end the project, we will professionally photograph your space!
